Curtis PMC 144V Electric Vehicle Speed Controller: Model 1231C-8601
The Curtis 1231C is a 96-144VDC 500A peak, pulse-width modulated (PWM) controller suitable for lighter-weight conversions. Installation and operation are straight-forward and relatively simple. The controller is air-cooled. In more demanding applications, the controller should be fitted to a heatsink on the baseplate for better heat dissipation. A 0-5kohm potbox is used for throttle input.
New and tested. We used the same controller (not this one) in our Honda for two years with no problems.
