Basic Differential Electroscope or Electrometer

An electrometer is an electrical instrument for measuring electric charge or electrical potential difference. The electroscope is an early scientific instrument used to detect the presence of electric charge on a body. It detects charge by the movement of a test object due to the Coulomb electrostatic force on it. The amount of charge on an object is proportional to its voltage.

This is a basic meter that shows positive and negative charge as represented by the red and blue LEDs that will more or less light up as you come close to the positively or negatively charged objects. This is useful in using with our Resonance Induction Kit 1 and Resonance Induction Kit 2 along with using in the experiments mentioned in the VT1510-12 Neon Sign Transformer Kit

Included: 1 Electrometer as shown in picture.
Not Included: Requires a 9V battery.
